Planorama is an end-to-end event management and RSVP platform designed to help event planners manage guests, invitations, payments, and logistics seamlessly from a single dashboard.
The backend was built using Django and Django REST Framework (DRF), with secure authentication, API throttling, and Celery-based asynchronous processing for emails, SMS, and bulk WhatsApp RSVP invites. The platform integrates Razorpay for payments and enables planners to efficiently manage events, guest lists, RSVPs, stays, and hotel arrangements with minimal operational overhead.
